Meet Fabiola Ocampo, LMFT, PMH-C
You’re already stronger than you think you are.
Healing begins in spaces where your story is seen, heard, and honored.
Meet the Founder
Fabiola L. Ocampo
Hi! I’m Faby! I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) first-generation Latina therapist, a mama, and the founder of Horizon Counseling Group.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and perinatal mental health, supporting individuals through fertility journeys, pregnancy and postpartum transitions, and the complex emotions that often come with these experiences.
I also work with professionals navigating stress and life transitions, and individuals seeking culturally responsive care that honors their lived experience.
My connection to this work is both professional and personal.
I understand first hand how complex fertility struggles, treatments, and loss can be, and how deeply they can impact your sense of self.
I also know that the transition into parenthood can bring both joy and overwhelm, often at the same time.
My approach to therapy integrates somatic-informed practices, trauma-informed care, attachment and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Together, we slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself.
In addition to my work in private practice, I serve as a clinical supervisor and work in community mental health- experiences that continue to shape my commitment to thoughtful, culturally responsive care.
My guiding principles
Compassion First
Healing begins in spaces where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create an environment where you can show up fully - without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Thoughtful Growth
Therapy is not about fixing you. It’s about creating space for insight, reflection, and meaningful change. Together we explore patterns, build tools, and support growth that feels authentic and sustainable.
Cultural Awareness
Our identities, cultures, and family histories shape how we experience the world. As a bilingual first-generation Latina therapist, I approach therapy with deep respect for cultural values, generational experiences, and personal identity.
Mind–Body Connection
Our emotional experiences live not only in our thoughts but also in our bodies and nervous systems. I integrate approaches that support both emotional insight and nervous system regulation.

When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m usually spending time with my toddler, partner, and our two Golden Retrievers. I love gardening, being outdoors, photography, music, and getting creative through DIY projects.
